What's It All About Then?...

“A rebirth of sorts.
Waking up after a dream and being immersed into a world of
Art, Theatre, Dance, fine dining, and very ‘British’ cream teas,
the Author reflects on new doors opening and old doors closing.”

...And The Sound?

” After the turmoil and heartache of ‘The Observatory’
It’s time to get things back on track. Kickstart the old ticker. Live a little.
The subject matter is flat-out real, all experienced, and possibly shy of this fact.
Another song borne out of a single sound. This time, a shimmering Pedal Steel Guitar riff.
We’d swerve at this being hailed as a Pop at ‘Country Rock’
simply because the genre’s beautiful purity isn’t there.
We’ve (as always) slung in the kitchen sink. (electronics, samples etc).
If anything, It’s our attempt at simple, sing-along Radio Pop.
Again, there’s a hint of Spiritualized at their most pastoral in there.
Maybe 70s Soft Rock like Eagles, Steely Dan have crept in too...We’re massive fans.
Aurora sounds so brilliant on this, amazing nuance and a range of voices and styles.
A “Harmony” of Angels...Is that the correct term?
(We especially love her interpretation of the ‘Vaughan-Williams’ line).
We’re also really happy to introduce BassMan, Mr Steve Oxenham to the Soap cast.
Trivia fans may be interested to know he was co-founder of the very first Band one of us was ever in.
...Some years ago...
There’s hopefully more to come here.
If it wasn’t for him, maybe you wouldn’t be hearing this right now.
We hope you enjoy this one. We’d like to make YOU buzz too.
